Big Dreams (I Know)
I was inspired by the recent influx of fathers in the black community taking care of their kids, something I didn’t have. And thinking about parental issues, I’m just talking shit and having fun with it. - Lyrics Fathers loving their sons mama Turn tail run You had big big big dreams mama Can’t hurt what you cant see Don’t hurt dreams that you conceived Don’t put no pressure on me mama Pray only on my knees Got the universe stuck on a scene Like interstellar on the silver screen Hans Zimmer with no piano keys I don’t Got it on but do not rescue me I got a drunk smile but don’t capture me For the silk shirts if you catch my breeze We don’t talk much, no I’m not free I guess that is all on me? I get that you didn’t respect me The fuck (bitxh) but does that gotta do with- nah i left you with a house to clean Im sorry can’t explain things How you think i felt over seas Sending 5k a month fuck off me Phone bill had me fucked up the fuck you think But i don’t regret the leave I did twice before but don’t make it three Fathers loving their sons momma got big big big dreams ma And my glasses can’t catch the breeze You told me to be myself wanna See the truth but not capture me You know you couldnt handle me I know you couldn’t handle three I got a handful if you catch my breeze Got on it me but don’t rescue me I know I-i-i knowmore
